• Smart processes personal data of Website Users in order to properly perform contracts concluded on the Website and maintain the User’s account on the Website, which means that this data is needed in particular for:

Personal data are processed in accordance with the provisions of Art. 6(1b) and (c) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) – this is the performance of the contract concluded via the Website and the fulfillment of our statutory obligations, for example order processing, complaint or return processing, as well as support both during the sales process and solving reported problems related to the operation of the Website. Duration of storage of personal data

We store your personal data for the entire duration of your User account on the Website.

In order to ensure high quality service, we archive all notifications and e-mail correspondence for a period of 2 years.

After deleting your account, our systems will store data regarding your transactions on the Website. This is our obligation under tax law. Additionally, we will store your data until the expiry of your claims arising from the concluded sales contract, e.g. warranty (complaint).

Entrusting processing and sharing data

Smart entrusts the processing of personal data to entities cooperating with Smart to the extent necessary to complete the transactions concluded on the Website. These are, for example, operators preparing the ordered goods for shipment, responsible for issuing the ordered goods and handling the process related to the return of goods or complaints.

This information is collected, among others, for the purposes of creating the so-called website statistics. The statistics contain only anonymized statistical data about users visiting the profile and it is not possible to link them to a specific person. Smart does not have access to personal data used by social networking sites for the purposes of preparing, among others, website statistics.

Thanks to website statistics generated by the social networking site, Smart has information about how users use Smart profiles and which published content is the most popular. Thanks to this information, Smart can optimize its profiles by better matching published content to users’ interests and behavior. The entity responsible for processing user data for the purposes of generating website statistics is the administrator of each of the above-mentioned websites. social networking sites.
